It’s never too late to plant a great vegetable garden, even in June!
While it may be too late for tomatoes & peppers most summer producers will grow even more quickly from seed planted in early summer when the soil is well warmed up. Don’t hesitate in planting seeds for cucumbers, beans, winter squashes, pumpkins as well as beets, carrots and chard.
Why not start a crop of “cut and come again” salad mix? Now is the ideal time to plant sun-loving herbs like basil, chives, thyme and sage.
You can see our current range of seeds on our online shop here and remember all the seeds grown at Seed Savers are 100% Organic and Open Pollinated.
