Feed your Soil

August will see the beginning of Harvesting for most, beetroot, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, peas, french and runner beans among others will leave your beds empty. Green manures (mustard, buckwheat, clovers and vetches) are plants which are grown specifically to improve soil fertility.

Grow directly in the now empty beds, cut down and dig in to the soil giving your beds and soil much needed nutrients which will only aid future growing. Click here for more details.
