Teagasc (Irish Research and Advisory Body for Agriculture) have recently applied to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for a license to grow GM potatoes in Ireland, to be planted this Spring. This is at a time when most other EU Countries are imposing restrictions, if not outright bans on GM crop.
Growing GM crops in Ireland will destroy our natural food chain, our environment, our farmers, our food industry, our health and ultimately our freedom and security and that of future generations.
Once they are introduced, GM crops cannot be recalled.
And yes these unnecessary and unwanted trials will be funded by tax-payers money.
