Tuesday, 25th October @ 7pm. Community Co-op, Main Street, Scariff.

What’s GIY again?

GIY stands for Grow it Yourself – we are a charity with the aim of inspiring people to grow their own food (again) and we

meet in local groups to share our experience, our successes (and failures) in the garden and to learn more together with expert speakers visiting at our monthly meetings. More info on www.giyireland.com.

On the launch evening following an introduction to GIY, gardeners and those who would like to learn about gardening are encouraged to get to know each other and share experiences from their own patch. The meetings will then continue every last Tuesday of the month focussing each around a gardening/self-sufficiency topic chosen by the members…

Please do bring anything you d like to share (produce, preserves or similar) on the day. Expert gardeners and novices all welcome!

Hope to see you on 25th October!
